Amanda Yeates graduated from Aston University with a degree in Behavioural Science and
started her career as a buyer, later qualifying as a member of the Institute of Purchasing & Supply.
She then joined a B2B Price Monitoring consultancy as their Sales Director, providing clients’
buying teams with market data and advisory services.
Amanda’s recruitment career began 15 years ago in the IT sector, where she managed teams of
consultants for one of the UK's largest recruitment groups. Amanda became Account Director
for their largest client, a FTSE 100 high street retailer. She managed the end to end recruitment
of new permanent staff and significantly reduced her clients' recruitment costs by streamlining
their selection processes.
Since 2004, Amanda has worked for boutique and global executive search firms specialising in
the Consumer sector. She has completed senior management and board level assignments
across several retail sectors including, fashion, homewares, consumer electronics and
entertainment.

Emma Gamble has a wealth of experience within the Financial, Retail and Executive Search
sectors. Starting her career within property management she qualified with the Chartered
Institute of Insurance in Advanced Financial Planning and Financial Administration before
joining a boutique IFA in Mayfair.
Wishing to pursue her interest in retail, in 2004 Emma joined a boutique search firm
specialising in this sector. Over the last 5 years she has been retained by some of the UK's largest
(and smallest!) retailers on senior executive search assignments. Her experience includes
Director level assignments within the department store, entertainment, wholesale, fashion,
homewares and DIY sectors and she has worked in the value, midmarket and premium arenas.
Emma has also provided commissioned pieces of research for FTSE 100 retailers enabling them
to have in-depth competitor analysis.
